The 2019/2020 Chelsea Away Kit Features a 1960s Aesthetic

The Chelsea away kits were recently unveiled, the kits will be worn for the club's upcoming 2019/2020 away games in the Premier League. The design of the Nike uniforms comes from the 1960s Mod culture. Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director states that β€œThe concept we came up with is a homage to the Mods of 1960s London and their sharp style,” he continues to elaborate on aspects of the uniform, like the white polo and red and blue colors reflect the club's history. The kits are available on at Nike Stores.

The jersey is mostly white with red and blue coloring along the sleeves, as well as the collar. Also featured on the jersey is the inscription, "The Pride of London.”
