These Deep Fried Cheese-Stuffed Doritos look ridiculously tempting. Personally, I am not a fan of cheese in any way, shape or form but I do know plenty of people who would absolutely love this recipe. Selected 7-Eleven locations were spotted advertising these ooey-gooey creations. These fried cheddar cheese sticks are shaped and coated with Doritos to offer a combination cheese lovers would dream of.
This DIY recipe is better than the ones will you will find at the store are are pretty easy to make at home. You just need a big piece of cheddar cheese cut into a triangle shape so it looks similar to a chip. Take your favorite Doritos flavored chips along with a few spices and process them to be like breadcrumbs.
Take each piece of triangle cheese and dip in into the flour, an egg wash and the breadcrumbs. The trick is to freeze the coated cheese pieces before frying them. The recipe is definitely one I would try if I was a cheese lover.
