Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits have a cult following and now even gluten-free consumers can get in on the biscuit goodness with the debut of a Gluten-Free Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix.
Red Lobster announced that starting this month, they will offer a gluten-free version of their iconic Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix at Walmart. While the biscuits served in the restaurant will not be gluten-free, the new mix gives more consumers an opportunity to taste the iconic side dish. To whip up the biscuits, all consumers need to do is add water, butter, and shredded cheese. The result is buttery gluten-free biscuits that are crisp on the outside, while staying light and fluffy on the inside.
With many consumers suffering from celiac disease or simply cutting back on gluten, Red Lobster is making its iconic dishes more accessible.
