Overly Artistic Perfume Parodies

Chanel No. 5 Imitation Ad is Hilarious and Confusing

Former child actor Leif Garrett stars in a new parody of Brad Pitt's infamous Chanel No.5 advertisement that has viewers saying "huh?"

The original ad featuring Pitt has him speaking candidly to the camera about human achievement before divulging his love for the classic fragrance. Overly artistic and serious, the clip has come to be loved or hated by viewers. Garrett sensationalizes the ad in his parody where he speaks in a similar fashion, but rather about mundane topics that have no real relevance to the product as many have said about Pitt's 30-second advert.

Known for their over-the-top nature, perfume ads are constantly critiqued for being far too complex and incomprehensible for viewers to really grasp what in fact is being sold. Check out the original ad on Trend Hunter.
