Looking at the Chamber Lamp, you can see that it embodies a modernist style with its tinted soda glass and its curving geometric shapes; however, you might instantly recognize it as resembling an old fashioned object. Hallgeir Homstvedt was inspired by handheld oil lamps that could be found in homes everywhere throughout the Western world, some two hundred years ago.
