There was tough competition this year when it came to CES 2015 smart home innovations. The annual Consumer Electronics Show saw a number of products that used technology to make the home more automated and connected, from vibrantly curved televisions to wireless charging stations and even facial recognition cameras.
Trend Hunter Editor Meghan Young discusses her favorite examples of CES 2015 smart home technologies starting with the Samsung SUHD series. The curved displays take brightness and color to a different level, offering new depth to pictures. The Energous Wattup doesn't just charge smartphones wirelessly, it powers devices from a distance too. The facial recognition camera-containing Netatmo security system offers night vision and motion sensors, as one might expect. However, the sleek and stylish package makes it stand out. The LG Door-in-Door Mega-Capacity Fridge uses its LED-lit "wings" to store more food.
