Trader Joe's is expanding its small lot coffee lineup once again, but this time it's adding the festive new Cerro Mogotón Nicaragua Small Lot Coffee.
Available for a limited time, the new Cerro Mogotón Nicaragua Small Lot Coffee is a roast that's perfectly suited for the holiday season. The new coffee features beans from a family farm in one of Nicaragua’s tallest mountain ranges, Cerro Mogotón. The Ortez family – which has been growing coffee since the 1940s – handpicks the single-origin beans, dries them, and then roasts them in Canada. The end result is a light roast coffee with mild acidity. The coffee also boasts caramel, almond, and tart green apple notes, which pair perfectly with holiday treats like warm cinnamon buns.
