For the Beautyworld Middle-East show this month in Dubai, design agency Centdegrés' Blend'It is being introduced as a personalized perfume experience in collaboration with several partners.
The site of the fair is being used as a test ground for a new concept in perfume that encourages one to "compose a fragrance in one’s own image, based on your mood at the time of creation using high-quality scents designed by master perfumers that have been adapted for this new experience." As part of the real-time experience, Centdegrés and world fragrance leader Firmenich developed two original scents and four booster scents. Others such as Albéa and Nortier contributed to the primary and secondary packaging designs of the product.
At the show's Blend'It stand, event-goers are invited to choose unique scents that best reflect their personality, plus boosters to match their habits. Visitors leave with three portable spray bottles that contain their custom creations.
