Fernando Mastrangelo is a designer that often experiments with unconventional materials in his decor creations, and his Fade series features cement furniture that opts for a contrasting soft pastel colorway. The design juxtaposes the industrial strength of the mortar with the silken and light colored shades to create beautifully gradient pieces. Each one is modular in shape and can be used in a variety of layouts.

The Fade collection is constructed entirely by hand to create sculptural pieces that are simultaneously functional as well as artistic. The pieces include minimalistic two-legged tables, drum stools and even wall art that is all constructed using cement. The mortar is rendered to look like water color with the soft addition of hues such as blue, green and pink in a gradient style.
