In a world where communication and lighters at rock concerts have been replaced by mobile phones, Dan Witz paints this reality with 'Cell Phone Flat.'
I love the portraits, but the longer I stare at it the more I find that 'Cell Phone Flat' has this eerie, dark haunting vibe to it. With his subjects staring at the screen and a black backdrop, Witz brilliantly captures how we ignore the world around us due to cell phones dominating our lives. It's scary how these individuals look like mindless drones.
