House of Rum Hosts a Rum-and-Caviar Masterclass

House of Rum is bringing rum tasting into finer-dining territory with a masterclass inside Caviar House & Prunier Piccadilly, where guests will try the spirit alongside caviar instead of on its own. The London event gives the independent bottler a more sensory format than a standard guided pour and turns the pairing itself into the attraction.

Using Prunier Baeri Tradition caviar with the Mauritius 2014 single cask lets the session hinge on contrast, with salt and brine helping the rum's sweeter fruit notes land more clearly. At 54.2% ABV, the pour carries enough weight to keep the match feeling intentional at the table rather than fragile or novelty-led.

For diners, this means a ticketed spirits event can feel closer to a curated dinner course than a bar tasting. It also recasts rum as something to explore with food, not only as a sipping pour or cocktail base.
