Paysafe is expanding digital wallet access in Europe with 'PaysafeWallet,' which now reaches users in Croatia, Bulgaria and Estonia via the 'PaysafeCard' app. The addition brings the service to three more markets and gives people one place to hold cash-loaded and digital funds before paying online or in stores.
PaysafeWallet pairs an IBAN, the bank account code used for cross-border transfers, with a personal debit card, and it also accepts cash top-ups through PaysafeCard. With the addition of Croatia, Bulgaria and Estonia, the wallet now covers every euro-area market as well as Poland.
This coverage across the full euro area and Poland widens Paysafe's footprint beyond online checkout. By building cash top-ups into the same app as an IBAN account, the product becomes a hybrid payment tool for users who move between cash, bank transfers and card spending.

- Euro-area Wallet Coverage
- Full-market availability across the euro area highlights the potential for cross-border financial tools that reduce fragmentation in everyday payments.
- App-based Financial Inclusion
- Mobile wallets that accommodate cash-dependent users can reshape access to banking-like services in markets where traditional account adoption remains uneven.
Where This Applies

- Integrated wallet ecosystems are expanding beyond checkout into stored value, transfers and in-store spending, challenging conventional payment providers.
- Financial Technology
- The convergence of prepaid cash networks and account-based services signals new fintech models built around flexible, multi-rail money management.
