The OKO is an Electric Carbon-Fiber Bike That Wins People Over with Style

This carbon-fiber bike is not only environmentally friendly and affordable but is also stylish, aiming to market itself the way a car brand does.

The designers of KiBiSi see cycling as the clear option to reduce accidents, get places faster and improve our overall air quality. However, they know that people will not be convinced to ride bicycles simply from those facts. Instead, they are choosing to design their bikes the way cars are designed -- appealing to specific personalities and tastes. This carbon-fiber bike is based off of race cars, extremely lightweight but durable.

The bike only weighs 40 pounds, making it extremely easy to ride around the city. The battery, motor and wiring all lives inside the frame, as opposed to most electric bikes that have these things weighing down their back end.
