Scratching his designs in found car hood parts, artist Thomas Klipper utilizes a very unusual medium to spread his thought-provoking images and messages.
The contrasting tones between the shiny painted surface of the various vehicles and the metal structure that lies just below the glossy finishes make for striking visuals that are enhance by the 3D curvature of the detached car parts. Scrap metal and recycled materials allow the artist to get creative and revise their plans to suit the different shapes and sizes of the found pieces, the results of which tend to be intriguing in an unplanned way.
Phrases such as "art is rebellion or it's nothing" bedeck the car hood sections etched out by Thomas Klipper, demonstrating how he strays from the norm in his artistic inclinations.
