An Instagram event hosted by Cantu Beauty and Gyrl Wonder occurred over the weekend to kick off the team's string of events designed to help young women of color build confidence, spread mental wellness, and built resilience. Gyrl Wonder is a nonprofit professional pipeline academy geared towards young women. In partnership with Cantu Beauty, a cosmetic and hair brand, the companies aim to nurture the next generation of female leaders.
The program kicked off on July 24th with an open conversation between leaders of the company. Next month, the partnership will offer a series of virtual workshops to promote positive energy for the mind, body, and soul. The program will follow with an Emotional Wellness Summit in October to continue inspiring young women of color.
