Sally Beauty Debuts Its Annual Rooted in Success Initiative

Sally Beauty's ongoing commitment to the textured hair community is reflected in its second annual Rooted in Success initiative, which expands educational programming and product accessibility at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. This year, the retailer strengthened its presence by partnering with Impressions of Beauty for the Black Girls Matter Meetup Tour and welcoming celebrity hairstylist Monaè Everett as a spokesperson.

Through a series of campus events, Rooted in Success initiative offers students hands-on experiences, including expert-led discussions, product showcases, and networking opportunities with Black-owned and founded brands. Additionally, giveaways and exclusive access to new product lines highlight Sally Beauty’s investment in fostering inclusivity in the beauty industry. Those with textured hair gain exposure to tailored products and expert guidance, while students benefit from mentorship and career inspiration.
