When it came time to think about giving Christmas gifts to its clients, the creative agency 'BLOCD' based out of Barcelona, Spain, settled on a candy gift, but one that's far from the ordinary off-the-shelf varieties.
For gift-giving, BLOCD's solution was to capture the essence of its studio work style by creating a set of mint candies in the shape of metal letterpress blocks using the same typesetting as its logo. To create these uniquely shaped mint candies, the agency describes using silicone moulds with Papabubble. The finished product was arranged backwards, as in the tradition of letterpress printing, and sent out in small slide-out kraft card packages.
Previously, BLOCD has sent out other memorable gifts to its clients, including a chocolate set that takes cues from the color matching system offered by Pantone.
