Graphic artist and printmaker Will Mower works in collaboration with Open Press Project to create the BlockFace kit, which is a modular set that allows creative minds to create their own letterforms and typographic visuals. Mower explains that “BlockFace is more than just a crafting tool; it's an exploration into symbols, pattern-making, and typography in a tactile, hands-on manner."
Users are able to create their own patterns, fonts, and symbols by creating shapes and joining the different pieces in their own way to create distinct visuals. The stamp features are made on a 10mm grid so that it can be nearly mixed and matched without following a template. There are two options starting with the go-to kit for a ready-to-use base and the DIY kit for more liberty.
