It’s hard to think of gobbling up these adorable grinning candy corn cake pops without feeling a pang of guilt.
These festive white and orange faux-corn treats bring out the light and cheery side of Halloween. Unlike other treats that focus on the grotesque displays of intestines and zombies, Bakerella’s candy corn characters are welcoming faces. The recipe dips the brown chocolate balls into different colored candy coating. Orange covers the whole body and sweet white liquid candy is the head of the character, complete with a yellow bottom to tie the candy corn look together.
If you would rather your candy corn cake pops aren’t smiling, then try adding a surprised or grimaced expression to set a more Halloween-friendly tone.
