The Canada Flag by Cuervo2099 is Made Out of Wood and Leaves
Meghan Young — October 15, 2012 — Art & Design
The Canada Flag by Cuervo2099 is the beautiful result of a serendipitous hike one morning in a forest. While out and about, the redditor user was inspired to use the natural materials found in his (or her) surroundings to create a patriotic tribute to what can only be assumed as his or her native country.
Using chopped birch wood and the vibrant red maple leaves that Canada is so proud of, the Canada Flag by Cuervo2099 is an incredible interpretation of the actual flag. Strikingly poetic, Neatorama points out that it would be nice if this flag created on a whim would inspire other people to craft similar ones. They would send a positive message that many would happily relate to.
