Design-Focused Kids Summer Camps

CampMODA Encourages Children to Pursue STEAM Careers

CampMODA is the latest effort from The Museum of Design Atlanta that's hoping to inspire children to pursue STEAM fields at an early age.

The new summer camp is designed for kids between the ages of 0-17 years old and encourages attendees to spruce up their "design thinking" skills. Laura Flusche, the museum's director stated that “We believe that that kids can change the world. They see through unique and fresh eyes, they love wacky ideas and they are brave enough to think that anything is possible.”

Through the camp's programming, children are offered courses like “LEGO Robotics for Aspiring Filmmakers,” “Robotics: Tinkering with Circuits and Robots,” “Architectural Design with Minecraft,” “Digital Building Blocks: Adventures in Blockly” and more.
