Designed by Neil Poulton, the Calipso Linear ceiling light features a honeycomb design. The Paris-based product designer created the Calipso for Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide. It is designed to break the boundaries of traditional ceiling lighting with its geometric shape.
The ceiling light is made from a series of carefully arranged tubes that create a honeycomb effect along its length. This pattern adds a comfortable ambiance to the room. The light shines through the small geometric circles, which vary in diameter, to create small rays of light. This lighting design is suitable for both workplaces and homes due to its even light emission. In addition, customers can add a joint between two Calipso Linears to create different ceiling light configurations.
