These Buttonwood Cake Boxes Resemble Beautiful Blue Flowers in Bloom

Designer Annie Wu created these beautiful cake packaging boxes that are shaped like a flower that is about to blossom. A cake is placed inside the circular box, which is tied together at the top like closed flower petals. When the string is pulled, the cake boxes open like a flower in bloom.

The entirety of these boxes are covered in unique illustrations of a tree that is growing cakes instead of leaves, fruit or flowers. Annie Wu created the design using a pencil and then scanned the art onto a computer to add color. The boxes are colored with a blue and white dual combination.

In addition to the boxes, Annie Wu created similar takeout coffee cups, business cards and menus that match the original idea.
