Be Home Butter Knife and Dish is an Admirable Student Project

The Be Home Butter Knife and Dish may be a student project, but it's one that could easily see the light of day. Created around an existing brand that prides itself on creating handmade, ecologically friendly, and responsibly-produced products, this packaging follows the same ethos. Although made entirely out of wood, string and paper, the design is still very stylish and sophisticated.

A project between the Pratt Institutde and Kendall Konenkamp, the design was overseen by tutor Matthew Strong. The accompanying copy sheds even more light upon the product, "Be Home's Butter Knife and Dish are made from excess materials left behind from the logging industry so no new trees are cut down. Lovingly made in San Francisco."
