Burger King's airline-inspired ad spot highlights the turbulent times we're going through and the measures the brand is taking to ensure consumer safety. France has been hit with a second wave as COVID-19 infections continue to increase. As a result, lockdown measures have tightened again, forcing many restaurants and bars to operate as takeout only.
In order to re-assure consumers of the safety measures Burger King chains are undergoing, it launched a second airline-themed ad spot. This time, the ad re-imagines a Burger King restaurant as an airplane going through turbulence. Someone quickly comes over the speaker system to announce “Don’t panic, all the crew is on top of things and can ensure your safety with masks, gloves and hand sanitizers."
