The 'Filo' Bulb Light Has Modules for Offering Different Uses

Smart light bulbs usually don't offer much beyond the basic functions that they are hardwired with, but the 'Filo' bulb light aims to change this. Capable of operating as a traditional light, the 'Filo' bulb has a small section in the middle that allows users to implement a different module. This can include a baby monitor, a fire alarm and much more that make use of the light fixture as a means of expanding capabilities without the need for separate devices.

The 'Filo' bulb light is the design work of TEAGUE and works against designed obsolescence by allowing users to replace portions as they stop working. This means that the main unit of the 'Filo' will remain with just small parts being replaced in order to decrease the need to replace the entire unit.
