The Bugatti telemetry system allows luxury sportscar owners the amazing ability to have their vehicle's health monitored anywhere in the world. The system is currently available on the 1,480-horsepower Chrion and it allows the car to constantly send maintenance data back to the Buggati headquarters in Molsheim, France. The Bugatti telemetry system, according to Buggati's sales boss Hendrik Malinowski, allows the automaker to "provide our customers with assistance in all technical matters....at any hour of the day."
The system is able to recognize and inform owners on a huge number of issues, ranging from tire pressure to something more serious. In the case of a serious issue, Bugatti will send out a trained technician to service the issue. The Bugatti telemetry system currently keeps an eye on 10,000 signals from all components of the car, including the engine, transmission, brakes, lights, air conditioning and infotainment system. The system can also be used to make necessary software updates the vehicle.
