The limited supply brew is aged on aged on six-year Jim Beam bourbon barrel staves to give it a richer, bolder taste—and the finished result has a dark color, plus "an oaky aroma with coffee and chocolate notes, a toasted malt taste, and a deliciously smooth finish."
This product marks the second collaboration from Budweiser and Jim Beam, which follows the release of the popular Budweiser Reserve Copper Lager. This bourbon-forward beer was developed to appeal to both fans of beer and bourbon, offering a new product that is especially fit for holiday enjoyment this upcoming season. As such, the Black Lager is even available in a special bomber bottle gift box.
