While most folks would simply trim a hedge that was blocking a path, Dutch designers Snodevormgevers and artist Paul Segers have completed a temporary structure which allows visitors to go over a hedge that is in the way.
Located in Rotterdam, the Bruggenhoofd Chabot (Chabot Bridge) creates a path from the street to the garden of the Chabot Museum. Apparently this temporary bridge will remain situated there until Sept 27.
Implications - Many consumers today value convenience and labor-saving qualities in the products in which they invest their time and money. Businesses that provide products boasting efficient and practical characteristics will appeal to a wide audience.
