The 'Boyhood' movie is in a class of its own. An impressive feat coming from the mind of director Richard Linklater, it captures a child star actually growing up throughout the course of filming it. This was achieved by filming short bits throughout a period of 12 years. Showing dedication, patience and, overall, vision, the 'Boyhood' movie has finally wrapped up and will be hitting theaters this summer in July.
Starring Ethan Hawke, Patricia Arquette and Ellar Coltrane, the main character of the 'Boyhood' movie, it is a bold experiment in humanistic filmmaking. Linklater states that he wanted to show "a parent-child relationship that follows a boy from the 1st through the 12th grade and ends with him going off to college."
