The Antwerp-based studio Bovenbouw Architectuur designed a house in Belgium with a striking black exterior. Located in Bazel on sloping terrain, the house is made from black bricks. The home spans four levels. Its unique interior design makes visitors feel as though they are walking up a path.
The brick house follows the site's topography. Its lowest level includes the front door, which opens up to a walkway of wooden steps to lead visitors through the unique house layout. The Belgium home is complete with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It also includes a sheltered terrace that functions as an outdoor room. The kitchen and large living room are located at the top of the house with east-facing windows.
