Okay, so Bookniture isn't actually made from books but it is made from paper, albeit honeycombed paper. Hong Kong designer Mike Pak's unique set of furniture gets its name from the fact that it folds into the shape of a book when not in use.

This makes it highly portable and perfect for urbanites living in cramped apartments where space is at a premium. Bookniture can support 100 times its own weight which is good to hold you and your laptop. Each piece is shaped the same but multiple colors are available. Bookniture by Mike Pak is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter.
