Scholastic is Bringing Books to Families in Safe New Ways

To meet the changing needs of the times, Scholastic is refreshing its usual in-person models to offer drive-through or virtual Scholastic Book Fairs. Scholastic recognizes that generations of kids have looked forward to its book fairs and as Sasha Quinton, President of Scholastic Book Fairs, says, "our book fairs offer kids a sense of continuity, normalcy, and joy during a year that's been so difficult." Now, families can look forward to discovering new books in different ways that support in-person, remote or hybrid learning models.

The drive-thru fairs in select markets feature branded trucks that share top-selling titles, book packs and special visits from costumed characters, all of which can be safely arranged within a parking lot. There are also virtual fairs so that families can discover thousands of titles with ease online.
