Plant-Based Boba Toppings

Twrl Milk Tea's Brown Sugar & Jelly Boba are "the New Sprinkles"

Twrl Milk Tea, the San Francisco-based brand making canned plant-based lattes, is introducing boba toppings that can be prepared in the microwave or on the stovetop to add texture and flavor to a range of snacks and beverages. The brown sugar boba and jelly boba from the brand are plant-based and gluten-free, while the latter is also low in sugar and free from dyes with a slight lychee flavor.

Chewy boba has become increasingly popular over the years due to its unique texture and flavor. The fun and playful nature of the drink appeals to people of all ages and it can be enjoyed as a topping or an addition to a beverage. “We think bobas are the new sprinkles,” says Olivia Chen, co-founder and chief marketing officer Twrl Milk Tea.
