Cesar Núñez Designs the Folded BO Lamp with Bandido Studio

Designer Cesar Núñez joins forces with Mexico-based design label Bandido Studio in creating the unique BO Lamp. The illuminating piece takes on the shape of a lozenge with a creased fold down the middle. The BO Lamp is specifically designed so that the creased section of the piece is the main point of light, emitting a softened glow. Alejandro Campos and Joel Rojas from Bandido Studios express that the lamp generates a warm light through the V-shaped metal sheet and is influenced by an iterative process.

This process is drawn from the way that nature transforms the movement of light in how it can reflect and become absorbed through different elements of nature itself. The BO Lamp's exterior boasts a matte coat finishing and has touch activated functions through a hidden sensor within the base. The intensity of the light can be altered according to the mood of the space as well. The lighting piece offers a choice of three colors -- Champagne White, Peach Rose, and Oxford Gray.
