Sustainable Progressive Industrial Fashion

BLUE SKY LAB Inspires Viewers at Shanghai Fashion Week

NIO Life, a design lifestyle label unveils its sub-label BLUE SKY LAB at this year's Shanghai Fashion Week. BLUE SKY LAB is its own branch of sustainable fashion, exploring functional design that comes from an industrial angle. The collection of goods uses recycled vehicle-grade fabric materials.

This includes the likes of seat belts, airbags, and even haptex BASF leather materials sourced from automobile manufacturing. The label launches 59 sustainable pieces that are broken off into three different chapters: starting with Urban, followed by Energy, finalized by Exploration. The brand continues to search for environmentally friendly materials while working with fashion designers from all over the world for its plans for the upcoming future and the designs to come.
