Blu Dot's Floating Showboat Returns to Showcase Upholstery Combinations

Blu Dot is significantly expanding its contract furniture offering through the launch of Blu Dot Graded-In, a new upholstery program developed for commercial interiors. The initiative introduces pre-approved textiles from renowned textile brands Maharam and Kvadrat, allowing architects, designers, and procurement teams to specify from more than 12,000 upholstery combinations across the brand's most popular seating and hospitality collections.

The program adds 457 new colorways across 27 furniture collections, including sofas, lounge seating, dining chairs, and workplace furnishings. Commercial customers can now customize pieces using premium upholstery options such as Maharam's Mode, Gemma, Terra, Firma, and Range textiles, alongside Kvadrat's Re-Wool 2, ReMix 3, Vidar 4, Steelcut Trio 3, and Hallingdal 65.

Designed specifically for the contract market, Blu Dot Graded-In streamlines specification and procurement through simplified pricing tiers, standardized lead times, and commercial-grade textile selections. The launch reflects growing demand for hospitality-inspired workplace environments and human-centered commercial spaces, while providing design professionals with greater flexibility and efficiency when furnishing large-scale projects.
