During this year's textile trade fair at Heimtextil, Patricia Urquiola and Moroso joined forces to create the among-us design installation. It transforms Hall 12.0 and the space creates a perfect background to experiment with textile concepts, sustainability, and more. It is an open concept that nods to both of its contributing efforts.
Urquiola explains, “The title, among-us, refers to the concept of being together and reflects the intent of the installation to celebrate hybrid new relations. The installation creates a playful landscape populated by hybrid creatures of our fantasy.” The seating is by Moroso and Patricia tapped a few talents to create the textile landscape, with handing textiles from cc-tapis and lounge islands that are made by Kettal using Kvadrat fabric materials.
