Bird-Shaped Carafes

This Glassware Collection Was Designed to Put a Smile on People's Faces

Thomas Kral designed a bird-shaped carafe for Glassware brand 'Nude' with the sole intention of putting a smile on the user's face.

The sculptural glass jug comes complete with a protruding copper spout that resembles a bird's beak, while the etchings on the side of the jug are reminiscent of feathers. The glassware collection is available in three color combinations: "uncoloured glass with purple stripes and a gold-toned beak, and dark blue glass with pink stripes and a silver beak." Each unique product helps elicit a sense of playful modern design in any room it is placed.

The bird-shaped carafe is casual enough to use at a family barbecue, yet sophisticated enough to remain in a study or private library.
