Red Robin recently debuted a festive new dish called the Billion Dollar Baby Burger. As the winning creation from Red Robin's Best of the Bash contest, the craveable new burger gives consumers a delicious way to indulge in gourmet ingredients this holiday season.
The Billion Dollar Baby Burger is an award-winning burger developed for the 2016 Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine and Food Festival's Amstel Light Burger Bash. The dish is Red Robbin's take on the Jacques Burger of MET Back Bay in Boston, which was created by David Daniels and Kathy Sidell. The burger itself is a gourmet creation made of a 100 percent Black Angus beef patty topped with a fried potato cake, peppered bacon, melted Fontina cheese, a truffle-flavored cheese blend, grilled tomatoes and shredded romaine lettuce.
The decadent new burger option demonstrates how chain restaurants are working with chefs to create new and innovative menu items.
