Bicycle photography usually isn't even about bicycles. For the most part, bicycle photography is about the cyclist in some way, shape or form, whether it be competing or just riding leisurely. This photo series gets rid of that convention and takes a look at the life of an abandoned bicycle.
The bicycle photography series was done by Raphael Xavier and is stylized in a very gritty yet glossy street style. This is the kind of photo one would see when looking at urban party photography or inner city lifestyle photography, except instead of ravers or street youths, there are broken down bikes.
Some of the shots use long exposures to make for laser like street light and big vibrant still shots with very exposed colors.
