The BeoVision Avant 85 Offers 85 Inches of Unsurpassed Picture Quality

The BeoVision Avant 85 is the latest flagship TV put out by Danish luxury electronics manufacturer Bang & Olufsen, replacing the BeoVision Avant 55.

This TV has a 3,840 x 2,160 pixel direct LED panel that features 2D local backlight dimming and 240 individually dimmable segments. The front glass is coated in anti-reflection material that reduces reflections by over 98%.

The TV also features a sound panel with seven integrated drivers. It is fitted with a 6.5-inch Coscone subwoofer on the rear of the unit, with an integrated wireless transmitter allowing for the connection of additional external speakers.

The BeoVision Avant 85 sells for $22,995 not including the motorized stand or 3D glasses. Customers can begin placing pre-orders, with the TV set to hit stores in October.
