Anthropomorphic Bell Mascots

Bellboy is Hotels.com’s Newest Ambassador

Captain Obvious, the mascot for Hotels.com, was retired in 2022 and in 2025, Bellboy is ringing himself in as Hotels.com’s newest ambassador and the world’s first-ever “spokesbell.” The 18-inch tall anthropomorphic bell with red sneakers is passionate about sharing savvy hotel tips, and helping travelers score deals. "You may not know we have more than 35,000 last-minute deals on Hotels.com, or that you can now set up a price alert on the app to tell you when a hotel rate drops," said Hari Nair, SVP and General Manager of Hotels.com, "Bellboy is going to make sure you know about these tools."

From now on, travelers in search of deals will spot Bellboy on social media and the Hotels.com site and app. To celebrate Bellboy's birthday, Hotels.com launched a big sale.
