Following in the footsteps of the infamous Krispy Kreme Burger, Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux has upped the ante with its new savory-sweet Beignet Cheeseburger Sliders.
Though the innovative new burger-donut mashup will not officially drop until May 6, 2024, Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux has begun teasing the epic creation online. Just as the name suggests, the new Beignet Cheeseburger Sliders pairs two light and sweet beignets (a deep-fried pastry) with the brand's handmade burger patties, and a few tips of bacon in between. The sliders are also served with a side of sweet potato fries to round out the savory-sweet flavor combination.
While this unlikely combination may sound unusual, the new Beignet Cheeseburger Sliders are a nod to Walk-On's Louisiana roots.
