Hydrating With Brewskies

Studies Suggest Beer After Exercising Rather Than Water

Spain's Grenada University is to thank for the study concluding that a pint of beer post-workout is more rehydrating for the human body than water.

This finding was decided after months of testing on 25 students.

As if some folks need another reason to drink. I wonder if they'll start stocking beer instead of Gatorade for professional sports teams? Now that could get interesting!

Implications - The students that were tested must have loved their compensation! Although the study finds that beer is potentially more hydrating than water, beer is also a depressant and may cause you to become intoxicated. At least water will keep you alert, coherent and able to drive home safely.
