Beasts of Balance is a digitally enhanced version of Jenga which challenges players to stack rubber creatures on top of one another.
Users are invited to stack the animal-shaped objects on top of a NFC-enabled base, which is also connected to the game's accompanying app. Each object is equipped with a weight sensor, allowing the base to sense which object has been stacked on what. The game is prompted to create a digital rendering of the stacked animals each time an object is successfully placed on top of another. This digitized stacking game helps construct a more immersive experience through creating a world which brings a unique assemblage of creatures to life.
The digitized experience puts a modern twist on Jenga, through infusing the popular game with a technological twist.
