This Brand Used a Bearded Model to Showcase Its Latest Lipstick

'Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics' recently hired a bearded model to showcase its latest lipstick. When it comes to cosmetics ads, most of us are used to seeing beautiful women sporting the latest lipstick or eyeshadow. This ad takes a different approach to selling cosmetics by using a male model.

The ad was posted on Instagram as part of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics' Lip Of The Day series. The ad was designed to showcase the brand's Lip Tar in 'Derelict' along with the matching nail polish. But unlike other cosmetics ads, this image featured a bearded model. The beautiful picture falls in line with the brand's longstanding commitment to being gender-inclusive and does not mark the first time that the company has used male models.

While cosmetics have traditionally been marketed at women, this ad demonstrates that makeup is something that can be enjoyed by everyone regardless of their gender.
