The Bûche Beige by Karl Lagerfeld is a festive holiday cake created for Beige Alain Ducasse Tokyo. The yule log is designed after Karl Lagerfeld's first love — the House of CHANEL. The cake is shaped like the iconic CHANEL lipstick, with the interlocking CC logo. With caramel and dark chocolate flavors, the lipstick features gold, beige and dark brown coloring with a string a pearls adorning it. The cake is meant to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Beige Alain Ducasse Tokyo.
Only 100 of the Bûche Beige by Karl Lagerfeld cakes will be made and delivery is set between December 20th to December 26th. Each Christmas yule log retails for ¥15,000 (about $130 USD). With every purchase, the cake will be presented in a box outlining the sketches made my Lagerfeld himself.
