Duracell Will Unveil a New Battery Shopping Experience at Walmart

Duracell has announced a new battery shopping experience that's planned to be rolled out at Walmart to provide shoppers with an updated retail experience that starts at the shelf. The initiative will consist of a centralized display that puts the brand's signature batteries in the spotlight alongside its paper-based product packaging. The packaging and display are expected to help boost productivity visibility and set the brand apart from the competition by prioritizing a fluid experience.

President Roberto Mendez spoke on the new Duracell battery shopping experience saying, "We’re leading the transformation of the battery shopping experience for consumers. By working with our retail partners like Walmart, we’re helping to reduce point-of-purchase confusion, streamlining operations in-store and making our packaging more sustainable than ever before, resulting in the removal of actual tons of plastic from the category. The product packaging and permanent display location in stores allow consumers to easily find and compare brands so they can choose the batteries they need with confidence.”
