Local architect David Closes is the mind behind the new jagged metal entrance with perforated aluminum materials that welcome guests at the Baroque Museum of Catalonia. This is located in Manresa, Spain and the new pavilion update is one of the few design entrance elevations that are taking place at the museum. A series of routes are created through the area with ramps and walkways in bright orange metal.
Closes explains the design project, noting "The project, in short, aims to 'remean' both the site of the intervention and the building itself by reestablishing links with the past of the Jesuit complex and with the city. The construction of the new accesses to the old Jesuit college is framed in the global renovation project of the entire built complex, which should grant to rationalise, refresh, and rethink the spaces of the preexisting museum
